Cauliflower(Gobi) masala

Cauliflower is the one liked by kids mostly in any form .
Mostly liked when done as starter like gobi 65,manchurian,pakoda etc.
But now here is a masala curry done in a simple way.
So here is the recipe..


Cauliflower florets    : 1 cup
Chopped onions        : 1/4 cup
Chopped tomatoes     : 1/2 cup
Ginger garlic paste    : 1 tsp
Tomato puree             : 1/2 cup
Red chilli powder      : 1 -2 tsp
Garam masala           : 1 tsp
Oil                              : 2 tbsp
Salt to taste 
coriander for garnish

Procedure : 

Wash the cauliflower well and cut into florets.
Take water in a saucepan and add salt and let the water boil.
When the water is boiling switch off and add the florets 
into the water and leave for 5 minutes.
Strain and keep aside.
Take a pan and add oil and make a tadka.
Now add the onions and saute.

Add ginger garlic paste and saute for 2 minutes.
When done add chopped tomatoes and stir .

Let the tomatoes cook for a while.
When the tomatoes are cooked add the tomato puree and stir well.
Cook for few minutes and now add red chilli powder,salt ,turmeric powder
and stir well.

Cook for one minute and now add half cup water and cook for 5 minutes.

Then add the cauliflower florets and mix well.

Add garam masala and mix well.

Cover and cook for 5 minutes till masalas are absorbed by the florets.
Switch off and add coriander leaves and serve hot..

This goes will rice and roti....
